Is everyone else seeing this?
Condoleeza Rice said Sunday on Face the Nation, "...there are some people who want to take Iraq back to the days of mass graves and torture chambers and seeking weapons of mass destruction and threatening it's neighbors." (Now the Face the Nation transcript has it as "threatening and sabres," but I watched her say it at least three or four times and she did not say that). Anyway, Dr. Rice, when was that, yesterday? Today? Things are going spendidly. I mean, I haven't heard about a mass killing or a new torture claim in at least, like 2 hours. And Turkey, our "ally" (which means that we're supposed to look out for it, as opposed to all the other people who are in "bad" countries), Turkey isn't feeling at all uneasy about things.Goddammit! How much shit can they say before they stop winning! How stupid do they have to get, really? This argument of, people who are against the war would have left Saddam in power, is mind-boggling. Nothing else matters! It doesn't matter how it happened. Let's look at it this way. You know that one of a hundred people has got to be a murderer you're looking for. So you execute them all, and when someone criticizes you, you say, "If they'd have had it their way, that murderer would still be alive!" Taking Saddam out of power has become their excuse for their own sloppiness, laziness, stupidity, and bull-headed stubborness. Not to mention their excuse for doing enough things domestically to ensure that our country will be as fucked-up as possible, as long as they could get a conservative Christian's vote for it. WHEN????? WHEN WILL THEY STOP WINNING?!
